SalaryIncreaseCalc corrects factual and mathematical errors as soon as they are confirmed. This page explains how to report an issue, how reviews work, and what changed recently.
How to report a problem
Email info@salaryincreasecalc.com with the page URL, what looks wrong, and (if you can) the expected figure or citation. Include screenshots when a calculator result seems off.
Creator-then-reviewer process
Calculator and guide updates follow a creator-then-reviewer workflow. Creators draft formulas, copy, and examples in their subject area. An independent reviewer checks the change before publication. Creators never review their own work.
- Tax and payroll topics are created and reviewed by the tax-payroll pair assigned in page frontmatter.
- Compensation and raise topics are created and reviewed by the compensation pair.
- Mixed pages that cover both areas list both creator and reviewer pairs.
Review cadence
Substantive pages are reviewed when formulas, defaults, tax assumptions, or cited benchmarks change, and when a scheduled editorial pass is due. The page “Last reviewed” stamp (when published) and the shared “Updated” date show the latest material revision. Profile bios carry a separate last-bio review date on each team page.
How corrections are handled
- We reproduce the report against the shared calculation module and unit tests.
- A creator prepares the fix; a reviewer confirms the change.
- We update the page stamp for material fixes and note significant methodology shifts on the methodology page.
- Changelog entries below summarize shipped corrections and major releases.
Routine typo fixes may not change the stamp. Formula, validation, citation, or published-number changes always do. See also the editorial policy.
Changelog
- October 1, 2026. Published calculators, raise guides, methodology, and editorial policy with shared raise math module and unit tests.
Methodology
